Quick answers for the issues teams hit most often while setting up and running reconciliations.
Confirm the email and password with your firm admin. Self-service password reset is not available yet - change your password from My Profile while signed in, or ask an admin to update it on Users.
Allow popups for app.qrecon.ai, then click Connect QuickBooks again. The Intuit authorization window must open in a popup.
Connect the provider under Settings → Connections first. The Sync button stays disabled until PayPal or Stripe shows Connected.
Check the workspace Reconciliation start date - sync only pulls bank withdrawals on or after that date. Also confirm Transaction Search is enabled on your PayPal REST app (activation can take a short time).
Download a sample CSV from the Import page, keep column headers unchanged, and re-export a suitable date range from PayPal or Stripe. Mixed or renamed headers are the most common cause of validation errors.
Open Settings → Account mapping, map each category to a QuickBooks account name that exists in your QBO company, then click Save changes (or Save mapping).
Some transactions were already exported (CSV or API). Use scope Not exported yet, pick a single payout with no prior export, or narrow the date range so there is no overlap.
Only firm admins manage Users and Roles. Team users work inside workspaces (sync, import, review, export) based on the permissions on their role.
