QRecon ("QRecon," "we," "us," or "our") provides software that helps businesses reconcile payouts across Stripe, PayPal, and QuickBooks. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use our website (qrecon.ai) and our application (app.qrecon.ai), together the "Service."
Account information. Name, work email, company name, and password (stored as a salted hash) when you create an account.
Connected financial data. When you connect Stripe, PayPal, or QuickBooks, you authorize QRecon to read specific data via OAuth - such as payouts, charges, refunds, fees, and existing ledger entries - solely to perform reconciliation. We request read access wherever the provider allows it, and we never request the credentials to your bank account directly.
Usage data. Pages visited, features used, and actions taken inside the Service, collected to improve reliability and product decisions.
Cookies and analytics. We use cookies and tools such as Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic to our marketing site. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
We do not use your connected financial data to train third-party AI models, and we do not sell your data.
We share data only with the service providers that operate QRecon on our behalf (see our Sub-processors page), when required by law, or when necessary to protect the rights, safety, and security of QRecon or our users. We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties, and we do not share your connected financial data for advertising purposes.
We retain account and reconciliation data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the Service. If you close your account, we delete or anonymize your data within a commercially reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it to comply with legal, tax, or accounting obligations.

We use encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, and least-privilege OAuth scopes to protect your data. Details are on our Security page.
QRecon is operated from the United States and India. If you access the Service from outside these countries, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in a country different from your own.
The Service is intended for business use and is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service before the change takes effect.
